Hatha Flow

Each class features pranayama, sun salutes, balancing poses, strengthening poses, and inversions. The spine is stretched forward, backward, sideways, and twisted with special attention on the hips and shoulders. The class ends with a deep relaxation session. All ages and levels are welcome because alternative versions of poses are always offered. This class is taught by Helen Stapelton.

Yoga Class

Mixed Flow

Enjoy a class that is a blend of Ashtanga, Kundalini, and gentle flow yoga. This is an all levels class and is a mixed style of types of yoga. There is focus on the breath, body awareness, alignment, and deeper relaxation. This class is taught by Pippa Browne.

Kundalini Namaste

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is an intermediate yoga class and beginners are still welcome. Vinyasa focuses on seamlessly stringing together poses with breath based on the Sun Salutation series. It is a bit more vigorous and faster paced than hatha flow and it will get you strong in body and mind. This class is taught by Josie Brown and other subs.

Yin Yoga

This class is for all levels. In Yin yoga you hold each pose for an extended period of time in order to open the connective tissues in the body, cartilage, ligaments, and joints. This provides opportunity to relax into the pose and find stillness. This is a good beginner class. This class is taught by Carolyn Fitz.

Yoga Stretches

Kundalini Yoga

This is an all levels class and chairs will be available for those who need them. Kundalini invovles different techniques to help balance the body, mind, and spirit. In this class you'll practice: kriyas (set of exercises created for a particular intention), pranayama (specific styles of breathing), chanting (not singing, utilized for a particular effect), and meditation. This class is taught by Pippa Browne.

Mobility and Flexibility

This class is designed for all bodies and will serve as an introduction to yoga for those who've not practiced before or a re-introduction for those who have not practiced for some time. Practices will include poses and movements that help lubricate joints, improve muscular support of joints and movement, and build mobility and flexibility. There are options to sit on a mat or in a chair. The class will also include breathwork to assist in relaxation and meditation for increased self-awareness. This class is taught by Tom Camp.

Yoga Class for all Ages

Wild Card

This class will be a wild card, meaning each session is guided by the collective energy of the group and teacher. Embark on a transformative exploration of movement, ancient wisdom, creative expression, and deep relaxation. Let your curiosity be your compass as you connect with yourself and others in unexpected ways. Activities could range from gentle stretching, yoga, movement to music, Qi Gong, energy medicine, oracle cards, journaling, contact improv, creative expression, humming, long savasana, and beyond. Discover the magic that unfolds when we move together with curiosity. This class is taught by Anneli.

Pilates is an alternative form of exercise that simultaneously strengthens, stretches and defines all muscle groups. It aligns the body while eliminating excess tension and strain on the joints. Pilates is a mind/body approach to exercise that increases one’s awareness of good body mechanics and focuses on the connection of the mind, the breath, and the body. It is the perfect workout promoting physical and mental well-being. On Tuesday there is Beginner Pilates and Thursday is an Intermediate level. No previous experience necessary for either class. This class is taught by Bruce Manuel.

Tai Chi

Tai chi is an ancient martial arts technique that enhances physical and mental health, as well as improves posture, balance, flexibility, and strength. Tai chi is a series of flowing and meditative like movements. Tai chi can boost mood, alleviate pain, strengthen the immune system, and improve heart health. In this class you warm-up the body and then practice learning the Yang style 24-Forms. This class will build on itself and over time you will learn the 24-forms. This class is for all levels and is good for people of all ages. This class is taught Shaonian Bates.

Movement to Music

Come and have fun in a free-style, non-choreographed movement class! Each week a new music playlist is designed, that starts off slow and then picks up pace, inspiring you to move your body. This class is meant to be fun and is a time to express yourself and let go of old energies and emotions. This class is also a cardio class, so you get a workout and have a good time at once. So if you like to hear good music, that spans all the genres, and like to dance, or maybe want to let yourself dance, then this class is for you. Leave your judgments at the door and just come move your body. This class occurs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month and hosted by Anneli.
