CLASSES
Kripalu Flow
Kripalu Flow is a slow flow class for all levels and has modifications for harder poses. It follows a clear structure of opening meditation, breathwork or pranayama, warm-ups, a modified flow based on the Sun Salutation series, a yin cool down, and a long final resting pose (savasana). It ends with live sound healing when taught by Anneli.

Vinyasa Flow
Vinyasa Flow is an intermediate to advanced yoga class. Vinyasa focuses on seamlessly stringing together poses with breath based on the Sun Salutation series. This class is taught by several different yoga teachers throughout the month. Come experience a variety of teaching styles and get your body moving!

Yin Yoga
This class is for all levels. In Yin yoga you hold each pose for an extended period of time in order to open the connective tissues in the body, cartilage, ligaments, and joints. This provides opportunity to relax into the pose and find stillness. The class is taught by Anneli and occasionally her mother, Carolyn Fitz.

Kundalini Yoga
This is an all levels class and chairs will be available for those who need them. Kundalini invovles different techniques to help balance the body, mind, and spirit. In this class you'll practice: kriyas (set of exercises created for a particular intention), pranayama (specific styles of breathing), chanting (not singing, utilized for a particular effect), and meditation. This class is taught by Pippa Browne.

Yoga for Knees and Hips
This class is designed for all bodies and will serve as an introduction to yoga for those who've not practiced before or a re-introduction for those who have not practiced for some time. Practices will include poses and movements that help lubricate joints, improve muscular support of joints and movement, and stretch connective tissue to make movement easier and reduce stress on joints. The class will also include breathwork to assist in relaxation and meditation for increased self-awareness. This class is taught by Tom Camp.

Restorative Yin
This class blends yin and restorative yoga in a complementary way to help channel ease and calm within. A mindful style of yoga that moves at a slower pace with longer holds to access the myofascial system. The class will involve staying on the ground by passively holding poses for an extended period of time, with the support of props (blankets, blocks, and bolsters). This style of practice helps to soothe the nervous system and helps you feel relaxed, balanced, and restored. This class is taught by Kristi Bumpus.

Tai Chi
Tai chi is an ancient martial arts technique that enhances physical and mental health, as well as improves posture, balance, flexibility, and strength. Tai chi is a series of flowing and meditative like movements. Tai chi can boost mood, alleviate pain, strengthen the immune system, and improve heart health. In this class you warm-up the body and then practice learning the Yang style 24-Forms. This class will build on itself and over time you will learn the 24-forms. This class is for all levels and is good for people of all ages.

Movement to Music
Come and have fun in a free-style, non-choreographed movement class! Each week a new music playlist is designed, that starts off slow and then picks up pace, inspiring you to move your body. This class is meant to be fun and is a time to express yourself and let go of old energies and emotions. This class is also a cardio class, so you get a workout and have a good time at once. So if you like to hear good music, that spans all the genres, and like to dance, or maybe want to let yourself dance, then this class is for you. Leave your judgments at the door and just come move your body.
