CLASSES

Kripalu Flow

Kripalu Flow is for all levels and has modifications for harder poses. It follows a clear structure of opening meditation, breathwork or pranayama, warm-ups, a modified flow, a yin cool down, and a long final resting pose (savasana). It ends with live sound healing.

Yoga Class

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa Flow is an intermediate to advanced yoga class. Vinyasa focuses on seamlessly stringing together poses with breath based on the Sun Salutation series. This class is slightly heated. It ends with a cool down and long savasana with live sound healing.

Yoga Pose

Yin Yoga

This class is for all levels. In Yin yoga you hold each pose for an extended period of time in order to open the connective tissues in the body, cartilage, ligaments, and joints. This provides opportunity to relax into the pose and find stillness. The class is unheated and ends with live sound healing.

Yoga Stretches

Kundalini Yoga

This is an all levels class and chairs will be available for those who need them. Kundalini invovles different techniques to help balance the body, mind, and spirit. In this class you'll practice: kriyas (set of exercises created for a particular intention), pranayama (specific styles of breathing), chanting (not singing, utilized for a particular effect), and meditation.

Ecstatic Dance

Come and have fun in a free-style, non-choreographed dance class! Each week a new music playlist is designed, that starts off slow and then picks up pace, inspiring you to move your body. This class is meant to be fun and is a time to express yourself and let go of old energies and emotions. This class is also a cardio class, so you get a workout and have a good time at once. So if you like to hear good music, that spans all the genres, and like to dance, or maybe want to let yourself dance, then this class is for you. Leave your judgments at the door and just come move your body.

Dance Class

Tai Chi

Tai chi is an ancient martial arts technique that enhances physical and mental health, as well as improves posture, balance, flexibility, and strength. Tai chi is a series of flowing and meditative like movements. Tai chi can boost mood, alleviate pain, strengthen the immune system, and improve heart health. In this class you warm-up the body and then practice learning the Yang style 24-Forms. This class will build on itself and over time you will learn the 24-forms. This class is for all levels and is good for people of all ages.

Meditation

An invitation to stillness. An invitation to meditation and deepening your practice. In the midst of our world whirling with activities, threats, and goals, we will make the time and place to be still- in our bodies, minds, and spirits- to experience deeper connection with self and with the Divine. We will practice focused attetnion, open awareness, and kind intention. A meditation practice has been found to improve immune, digestive, cardiovascular, and mental funcitoning. It could also increase effectiveness of other health-promoting practices and deepends intimacy in personal relationships. Meditation promotes evolution of consciousness and spiritual growth.

Our Daily Practice
